Our Mission The Central Coast Soccer Association is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the game of soccer for youth in Lincoln County. Our goal is to provide opportunities for all players to develop soccer skills, knowledge and team experience. Many young people who are not successful at other endeavors can find acceptance and success in soccer. It is a sport that spans cultures and gender. The philosophy of CCSA is focused on learning, enjoying the game and developing good sportsmanship. Founded in 1996, the Central Coast Soccer Association is a member of OYSA, the Oregon Youth Soccer Association. We play two recreational soccer seasons each year, one in the fall and one in the spring. The fall season begins in September and the spring season begins in April. The fall season of 2007 brought us over 100 players in the Pre-K; born before 7/31/2004 - 8th grades. Teams play at least 6 and as many as 9 games each season. This year CCSA formed a competitive division playing under the name Lincoln United. Lincoln United consists of select players from all over Lincoln County. Lincoln United U14 finished second in the state in the OYSA fall league. LUFC completed the season with only one loss. They were only one point behind Roseburg which won the division. Currently we have U-17 in this winter. Please visit the competitive page for more info on these teams. This will be updated as soon as I get the informaton. Association receives grant for Taft field. CCSA, with the help of the Lincoln County School District and the City of Lincoln City has been awarded a $100,000 All Conditions Field grant by the United States Soccer Foundation. The grant will be used toward the construction of the county's first synthetic turf field. This will also be the only turf field in the ValCo league. Construction on the field has been put on hold as the original site was too expensive. A co-usage field with the Taft High School football program is being explored.
